FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers, upfront.

Everything researchers commonly ask — about ordering, shipping, quality, and the fine print. If your question isn’t here, the contact form is at the bottom.

Section 01

Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship from?

Every order is dispatched from our UK warehouse. We don’t drop-ship from overseas suppliers — your order is picked, packed, and shipped from where it’s stored.

How long does UK delivery take?

Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day with 24-hour tracked Royal Mail shipping. You’ll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order leaves our warehouse.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship across the EU and selected international destinations. International orders are limited to 4 vials maximum per shipment to comply with customs requirements. Delivery times vary by destination, typically 5–10 working days.

If you’re ordering from outside the EU and aren’t sure whether we ship to your country, get in touch before placing the order.

Is shipping discreet?

Yes. All orders ship in plain, unbranded packaging with no external indication of the contents. The return address shows our company name only, and there are no product labels visible from the outside.

What if my package is lost or arrives damaged?

All UK orders are sent via tracked, insured Royal Mail. If your package shows as delivered but you haven’t received it, or if it arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date and we’ll arrange a free redelivery at no additional cost to you.

Photos of damaged packaging or contents are helpful for processing redelivery requests quickly.

Section 02

Products & Quality

How is product purity verified?

Every batch we receive arrives with manufacturer HPLC purity testing as standard, confirming ≥99% purity.

As a second layer, we periodically commission independent verification through Janoshik Analytical — a third-party lab we don’t own and can’t influence. We publish those reports openly when they’re completed.

Can I see the test results for the batch I received?

Where available, yes. Independent Janoshik test reports are published on the relevant product pages and updated as new verifications are completed. If you’d like documentation for a specific batch number you’ve received, email us with the batch number and we’ll send you what we have on file.

How are the peptides supplied?

All products are supplied as sterile lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed glass vials with rubber stopper closures and crimped aluminium caps. This format preserves potency for storage and reconstitution.

How should I store the products?

Lyophilised peptides should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, refrigeration (2–8°C) is recommended. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, refrigeration is required and shelf life is reduced.

Specific storage guidance for each compound is included in the product description.

Do you sell bacteriostatic water and syringes?

We stock bacteriostatic water in 3ml and 10ml vials for reconstitution use. We do not sell syringes or other consumables — these should be sourced through appropriate medical or laboratory supply channels.

What’s the shelf life of your products?

Lyophilised peptides typically have a shelf life of 24 months from manufacture when stored correctly. Each vial is labelled with an expiry date — we don’t ship anything within 6 months of expiry.

Section 03

Payment & Pricing

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer two seamless payment options at checkout:

  • Open banking — pay directly from your bank account, authorised through your banking app in a few taps. No card details, no manual transfer setup. Most payments clear in seconds.
  • Cryptocurrency — we accept major cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and stablecoins (USDT, USDC). Live exchange rates and payment instructions are shown at checkout.

Both options are processed through regulated providers — open banking via FCA-authorised payment initiation services, and crypto through a vetted payment processor.

How does open banking payment work?

Open banking lets you pay us directly from your bank account in a few taps — no card numbers, no copying sort codes and references manually.

At checkout, you select your bank from the list and get redirected to your banking app to authorise the payment with Face ID, fingerprint, or your usual login. The amount and reference are pre-filled, so there’s nothing to mistype. Once approved, you’re returned to our site and your order is confirmed instantly.

Payments are processed through an FCA-authorised payment initiation provider regulated under PSD2.

Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?

We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and the major stablecoins USDT and USDC. At checkout you’ll be shown a live exchange rate, the wallet address to send to, and a QR code. Orders are confirmed automatically once the transaction is detected on-chain.

If you’d like to pay with a cryptocurrency not listed, get in touch before ordering and we’ll let you know if it can be accommodated.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. Neither payment method requires you to share card details or sensitive financial information with us.

With open banking, the payment is authorised inside your own banking app — we never see your login, card details, or account credentials. The connection is encrypted and regulated under PSD2 / FCA rules.

With cryptocurrency, you send payment from your own wallet directly to ours. No personal financial information is exchanged at any point.

Do you offer discounts for bulk or repeat orders?

Larger sizes of multi-vial products (e.g., MOTS-c 40mg, Retatrutide 30mg) are priced at a meaningful per-mg discount compared to single vials. For genuinely bulk laboratory orders, get in touch directly and we’ll discuss pricing.

Can I get a VAT invoice for laboratory expenses?

Yes. A VAT-compliant invoice is issued automatically for every order and emailed to the address on file. If you need a copy or an additional invoice with specific business details, email us with your order number.

Section 04

Research Use

What are these products intended for?

All products supplied by Momentum Peptides are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research purposes only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, consumption, injection, or any application outside of qualified laboratory settings.

Research use only. Not for human or animal consumption.

Can you provide dosing or protocol advice?

No. We do not and cannot provide dosing guidance, protocol advice, or recommendations on how to use these compounds. Our products are sold for in-vitro research only, and any application beyond that is outside the scope of what we supply or advise on.

Researchers conducting laboratory work should refer to peer-reviewed scientific literature for technical specifications.

Do I need a licence to purchase research peptides?

The compounds we supply are not currently classified as controlled substances under UK law and do not require a specific licence to purchase for laboratory research purposes. However, regulations vary by country and by compound — if you’re ordering internationally or have any legal questions, you should verify the regulatory status in your jurisdiction before ordering.

Are your products suitable for clinical use?

No. Our products are not pharmaceutical-grade and are not licensed for clinical, medicinal, or therapeutic use. They are research chemicals supplied for in-vitro laboratory study only.

Section 05

Account & Returns

Do I need to create an account to order?

No — guest checkout is available. However, creating an account lets you track orders, view your order history, save addresses for faster checkout, and access invoices.

What’s your returns policy?

Due to the nature of research compounds and the strict quality control requirements involved, we do not accept returns under any circumstances. Once a product has left our warehouse, we cannot accept it back into stock.

If your order arrives damaged in transit or you’ve received the wrong item, contact us within 7 days and we’ll arrange a free redelivery of the correct product at no additional cost.

What if my order is damaged on arrival?

Email us at support@momentumpeptides.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged packaging or product. We’ll arrange a free redelivery of the affected items at no cost to you.

Redelivery is our standard resolution for damaged or incorrect orders — we don’t issue refunds in lieu of replacement.

How do I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order is dispatched. You can also view all your orders and tracking information by logging into your account on the My Account page.

How do I contact you with a technical or order question?

Email is the fastest way to reach us at support@momentumpeptides.com. We’re a small UK-based team and we respond personally — usually within a few hours during working days.

Is my data shared with third parties?
